Following a lengthy procedure, a patient in my practice called to report a large aphthous ulcer in the mandibular vestibule. Normally, she would not have been so concerned, but she had a very important speaking engagement the following day. She feared the size of the lesion coupled with the pain would impair her ability to speak plainly. I immediately wrote her a prescription for Kenalog and Orabase, but then remembered the representative that had visited my office with materials and clinicals on Aphthasol. I called the pharmacy and changed the Rx to Aphthasol for the patient. The following day the patient called me to report her delight with the results of treatment with Aphthasol. The pain relief was immediate and the lesion had all but disappeared. I know what I will be prescribing in the future for my patients. You saved the day, Discus Dental. Thanks!

Like most hygienists, I am very conservative when it comes to recommending or prescribing products for my patients unless I either have used them myself or have evidence of their performance. Following a very stressful event in my life, I experienced an episode of aphthous ulcers. Not having had an ulcer in over 10 years, I was surprised to find I had not one, but three aphthae in my mouth. Having been recently educated on Aphthasol, I decided to give it a try to see if the claims were really true. The largest of the lesions on my hard palate was merely a pinpoint in three days and day four, all three were virtually gone. The pain relief was great, and the consistency of the product made it adhere well to the tissue. I can now recommend this product with full endorsement for my patients.

I lead a very high-stress life. My kind of lifestyle is accompanied by continual episodes of aphthous ulcers. While driving to work recently, I heard a radio ad with Dr. Bill Dorfman, the "Extreme-Makeover" doctor talking about a new treatment for aphthous ulcers called Aphthasol. It sounded like a real solution for me. I immediately asked my doctor to write a prescription for me, which I promptly had filled. My next outbreak was only days away. I applied Aphthasol according to package instructions. The pain relief was immediate and the swelling I normally get subsided as quickly. The next day, the ulcer was all but gone! When I feel an ulcer coming on, I now apply Aphthasol, so it never even starts. I have tried every treatment in the world over the years, but nothing has worked until now. This is a huge breakthrough for aphthous ulcer sufferers!
